PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a favorable snap of a screen off a cylinder by a simple method without complicating the construction of equipment and a driving controlling mechanism. SOLUTION: In a screen printing method, in which a printing object 2 is seated on a stage 1 and a screen 3 equipped with the opening part having a pattern to be printed is held at a distance from the printing object and, at the same time, a squeegee is moved under the condition being pressed against the screen so as to print paste onto the printing object through the opening part, a high block part 11 having a height larger than that of the printing object (for example, higher than 0.1 mm) is provided at the moving terminal position of the squeegee on the stage. Further, a spacer 12, which has a height smaller than that of the printing object and stands between the high block part and the printing object so as to separate the high block part from the printing object, is provided.
