PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the synthesis of a protein having an artificially modified structure by using a biological method such as an acellular protein synthesis method, a protein having an arbitrary amino acid site-specifically introduced by an acellular protein synthesis method, and a method for the use of the protein. SOLUTION: The method for the synthesis of a fluorescence-labeled protein comprises the biological labeling of a protein with a fluorescent substance having an acridone skeleton.
