The inventive device for elastically loading a movable element (10) with respect to a fixed element (12) comprises a coil spring (30) for interacting by each end thereof with the associated member (34, 36) of the movable (10) and fixed (12) element and a protective circular tubular sleeve (40) surrounding said spring. Said sleeve (40) is embodied in the form of a rolled sheet, provided with a holding member and is axially fixed to the spring (30) by said holding element which prevents the axial displacement of the sleeve (40) on the spring (30). Said invention also relates to a vehicle in which said associated element (34) is connected to the structure (12) thereof, the associated element (36) is connected to an opening hood (10) and the spring (30) is used for holding said openable hood (10) in position with respect to the structure (12).
