The invention relates to a cooling device for an electrical machine (10) that is cooled using a coolant. Said cooling device comprises a feeding apparatus (40, 42) by means of which coolant (38) can be delivered to the electrical machine (10). The electrical machine (10) is provided with a stator (12) and a rotor (20) having an axis of rotation (22). Coolant (38) can be directed to a first zone (44, 46) of the rotor (20) of the electrical machine (10) and be brought in contact with the rotor (20) with the aid of the feeding apparatus (40, 42) of the inventive cooling device. The coolant (38) is transferred from the first rotor (20) zone (44, 46) into a second rotor (20) zone (48, 50) when the rotor (20) rotates. The distance of the second zone (48, 50) from the axis of rotation (22) is greater that the distance of the first zone (44, 46) from the axis of rotation (22). The invention further relates to an electrical machine (10) that is cooled using a coolant (38). |
