<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for advantageously manufacturing a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet which has a forsterite coating superior in appearance and adhesiveness, and is superior in magnetic properties. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet comprises the serial steps of: hot-rolling a slab of silicon steel containing 0.01-0.10 mass% C, 1.0-5.0 mass% Si, further a main inhibitor and a subsidiary inhibitor; cold-rolling it once or twice while sandwiching intermediate annealing, into a final sheet thickness; subsequently subjecting it to primary recrystallization annealing; applying a separation agent containing magnesia as a main content for annealing onto the surface of a steel sheet; and subjecting it to final finishing annealing; wherein the inhibitor includes one or more of nitride, sulfide and selenide; the subsidiary inhibitor includes one or more elements selected from Ni, Sb, P, Cr, Te, Bi, Sn and Pb; and the separation agent for annealing includes at least one of water-soluble compounds in a form of an aqueous solution, in an amount of 0.001 to 10 pts. mass with respect to 100 pts. mass of magnesia. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
