<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch the operation mode of an IC tag by attaching/detaching an IC tag main body and a joint member. <P>SOLUTION: This IC tag is provided with an IC tag main body and a joint member to be joined to the IC tag main body. This IC tag main body is provided with a processing part, a sensor and an operation switching part. The processing part executes the operation of the IC tag. The sensor senses predetermined physical quantity which can be operated from the outside from an external field, and detects a preliminarily decided external field status. The operation switching part switches the operation mode according to the detection/non-detection of the external field status by the sensor. On the other hand, the joint member is provided with an attachment/detachment part and a physical quantity applying part. The attachment/detachment part is provided with a function which can be attached/detached to/from the IC tag main body. The physical quantity applying part applies the external field status to the IC tag main body in such a status that the joint member is joined to the IC tag main body so that the operation mode of the IC tag main body can be maintained in a switched status. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
