<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular opening/closing body control system which does not produce collision sound and facilitates detection of misalignment of an opening/closing body. <P>SOLUTION: According to the system, a slide roof operating zone S is set between a tilt-up stopping location A<SB>1</SB>immediately before one locking location and a sliding stopping location A<SB>3</SB>immediately before the other locking location, and fail detecting sections T1, T2 are set in the operating zone S, followed by storing ranges of absolute count values of pulses in these sections, respectively, beforehand. When the slide roof is stopped due to detection of an overload, if a pulse count value counted by a counting means falls in the ranges of the absolute count values of pulses in the fail detecting sections T1, T2, pulse information at each locking location is reset. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
