PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a technology to present the marketability of a technical literature as a concrete numeric value. SOLUTION: This marketability analyzing system is provided with a storage part 38 for storing the dictionary vector of a plurality of technical terms, a reference numerical value DB 40 for registering a reference numerical value representing the marketability scale of each product for each product category, a means for comparing the product category with the dictionary vector to generate the concept vector of each product category, a means for multiplying the concept vector by the reference numeric value to calculate a marketability vector, a means for extracting a keyword in the technical document, and for comparing them with the dictionary vector to generate the concept vector of the technical document, a means for comparing the concept vector of the technical document with the concept vector of each product category, and for extracting the product category equipped with predetermined similarity as a relevant product category and a means for integrating the inner product value of the marketability vector of each relevant product category by the concept vector of the technical document to calculate the marketability numerical value of the technical document.
