PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin gear capable of preventing occurrence of shrinkage without causing a complicated mold structure and increase in weight and securing torque transmitting force. SOLUTION: In the resin gear 1 provided with a resin cogwheel portion 3 by means of injection molding so as to surround a metal shaft member 2, the resin gear 1 has a fitting portion 4a burying a resin insert member 4 into the gear portion 3 and fitting the insert member 4 to at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the shaft member 2, and a cylindrical and wide breadth portion 4b which is integrally formed so as to be coaxial to an outer peripheral surface of the fitting portion 4a and is longer than the fitting portion 4a at a width direction of a tooth root surface 3a of the gear portion 3.
