PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit shaking-in device capable of shaking out/in a drive unit and smoothly switching a disk clamping mechanism and a floating lock mechanism continuously by a simple structure, and a disk device. SOLUTION: This drive unit shaking-in device is provided with a pick arm 130 disposed to be shaken in or out of a space generated by dividing trays 250 capable of housing a plurality of disks D, a drive chassis 120 mounted on the pick arm 130 and equipped with a drive unit for reproducing the disks D, a driving mechanism for driving the pick arm 130, the floating lock mechanism of the drive chassis 120, a turntable 123 to mount the disks D, a disk clamping mechanism for holding the disk D with the turntable 123, and a control plate 136 for transmitting the driving force of the driving mechanism to the floating lock mechanism and the disk clamping mechanism.
