PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided an agent device for performing an action helpful for a user without generating any operational trouble by selecting a piece of music to be suitably provided to a user without generating any operational trouble from among a plurality of pieces of music stored in a large capacity storage device such as an HDD, or selecting television programs or radio programs or destination places or the like. SOLUTION: A personified agent is set with profile information, and this agent device is provided with a processing means for performing processing specialized in the agent on the basis of the profile information set in the agent.
