PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized lightweight road paving machine and a paving method for simultaneously placing a plurality of paving layers by a simple method. SOLUTION: At least two paving screeds (B1 and B2) separately placed in the working traveling direction R are supported to a chassis (1) for the road paving machine (F). The road paving machine (F) is designed so that a plurality of the paving material layers (L1 and L2) are placed almost simultaneously on a plane (P). Compaction devices are mounted on each paving screed (B1 and B2). One paving screed (B1) placing a lower layer (L1) is fitted at the front end section of the chassis (1).
