PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water absorbing implement capable of easily and efficiently absorbing to eliminate rainwater or the like staying on the surface of a playground, an open space, a construction site, a roof, a veranda, or the like and easily absorbing to eliminate rainwater or the like staying particularly in a small hollow or ditch. SOLUTION: A water absorbing material 2 is stored inside a rubber cup formed in approximately bowl shape, and the end part of the water absorbing material 2 is projected from an opening part 11. A handle 3 of pipe shape is mounted to a mounting part 12 provided at the upper part of the rubber cup 1, in communication with the rubber cup 1, and a check valve 4 for extracting air in the rubber cup 1 is provided at an intermediate part of the handle 3 or inside a cover body.
