PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining plate made of fiber reinforced synthetic resin for use in renovating a channel inner peripheral surface and hardly changing in appearance even if degraded with the lapse of time, and to provide a method of renovating a channel inner peripheral surface without requiring construction work time and labor and having a smooth inner peripheral surface after renovation with no leakage of water. SOLUTION: The inner peripheral surface of a renovated channel composed of FRP lining plates is coated in a coating film thickness of 1 mm or more with a synthetic resin coating film with silica sand or the like mixed at 20-87 wt%. A part of the FRP plate is provided with projecting parts of conical shape with the flat tops projecting onto the channel inner peripheral surface side, and through holes are bored in the center of the tops. Using these holes, the lining plate is fixed to the channel inner peripheral surface by hole-in anchors to have a clearance equivalent to the projecting height of the projecting parts, between the lining plate and the channel inner peripheral surface, and unhardened liquid mortar is filled in the clearance and hardened.
