PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine with various tastes performing a novel variable mode on the movement of movable members provided in a variable winning device, securing a gain of a player in the produced special game state and, on the continuation of the special game state, leaving it to a sheer luck. SOLUTION: A pair of movable members 152a and 152b of the variable winning device 150 are horizontally varied into a first state of easily receiving a game ball and a second state of hardly receiving the game ball. Subject to the satisfaction of a predetermined condition, this game machine produces a special game state of varying the movable members 152a and 152b of the variable winning device 150 into the first state; and on condition that the game ball received by the variable winning device 150 in the special game state enters in a special winning area 155, repeatedly execute the special game state; and in the special game state, the variable winning device can receive a predetermined number of game balls irrelevant to the entering/non-entering of the game ball in the special game area 155.
