APPARATUS FOR DISINFECTING SOIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for disinfecting soil designed to be widely applied even to the soil of general agricultural land and retaining excellent fungicidal and disinfecting effects over a long period. SOLUTION: A fryer 1 is composed of a vessel 3 in which an edible oil 3 is contained and a heater 4 for heating the vessel 3. The edible oil 2 which is a heating medium is heated to increase the temperature to 100-230°C. Heat pipes 12 forming a part of a looped pipeline 19 are provided in a forward pipe 8 and a return pipe 10 mounted on the fryer 1 and embedded in the soil 23. The edible oil 2 is circulated to heat the underground to≥90°C. Thereby, the soil is sterilized and disinfected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
