FIELD: manufacture of metallic structures. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preliminarily calculating (with use of set of equations) at allowance ±5% welding current intensity, voltage of electric arc, welding rate and extension of electrode wire; preliminarily setting gap of butt, diameter of electrode wire and selecting fusion depth; taking into account influence of welding mode parameters and gap of butt upon seam dimension and influence of welding mode parameters and extension of electrode wire upon area of surfaced metal; setting relation between welding current and voltage in order to provide stable transfer of electrode metal, minimum splashing and high-quality seam. All calculations are performed while taking into account coefficients corresponding to type of welding process. ^ EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded joints, lowered costs of experimental determination of welding mode parameters. ^ 3 tbl, 3 ex |
