<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermocompression-molding method that uses a press forming device to prevent a fracture in a carbon board and damage to a pressing board due to a fluorine gas which incidentally occurs. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermocompression-molding method, the carbon board 3 comprising a carbon paper coated with a catalytic paste is inserted between an upper pressing board 1 and a lower pressing board 2, and the carbon board is thermocompression-bonded while being heated by a heating medium to which a current is passed through a channel 10 and being operated by an elevating hydraulic cylinder. A thin stainless steel board 5 and a graphitized carbon board 6 are incorporated into the upper pressing board 1, and a thin stainless steel board 8 and a graphitized carbon board 9 are incorporated into the lower pressing board 2, and they are thermocompression-bonded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
