<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to intuitively and exactly grasp throughput of each information processor at each time and also to make an appropriate information processor execute processing by selection by the user himself/herself in a system in which a plurality of information processors exist on a network. <P>SOLUTION: When the information processor 1 and 2 which are hard disc recorders, an information processor 3 which is a PDA and an information processor 4 which is a portable CD player are on the network, when the user instructs presentation of the throughput of each information processor to the information processor 2, the information processor 2 collects detailed status information of the self device and other devices and displays the throughput of each information processor at the time on a display screen 151 by a throughput presentation bar 155 and marks 161 to 164 indicating each information processor.
