<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic device providing method capable of providing an electronic device of a specification congenial to a user's preference. <P>SOLUTION: A customer selects desired parts in a shop, notifies a shop clerk of the selected parts, and orders a computer. The shop clerk inputs order contents to a store terminal 3. The store terminal 3 notifies the order contents to a head office server 2 installed in a head office center, and instructs the shop clerk to start the assembling of the computer. The state of an assembling operation in each store is monitored in an operation room, and the shop clerk mounts incoming parts and makes communications with an operator while assembling the computer. When the stock of parts in the respective stores reaches a reference value, the store terminal 3 automatically orders the parts to the head office server 2 in the head office center.
