PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a control unit takes much preadjusting time owing to the difference in responsiveness between both control systems of an engine control and a dynamometer control, in the control apparatus of an engine dynamometer controlling an engine and a dynamometer mutually coupled, on the basis of a predetermined operation mode, by using a control circuit with the engine control system and the dynamometer control system. SOLUTION: The controller unit provides a determination adjusting section on the control circuit; and the determination adjusting section determines a deviation value between a target value and a detected value to an engine control, and a deviation value between a target value and a detected value to a dynamometer control. A signal in response to the deviation value between the target value and the detected value to the engine control is added to a signal in a dynamometer system, as a parameter, and then the unit is configured so that responsiveness and gain of the dynamometer are adjusted based on the signal.
