DOCUMENT PROCESSING DEVICE AND DOCUMENT PROCESSING METHOD

It is possible to appropriately process a document described by a plurality of markup languages. A document processing device (100) realizes a display/edition system by plug-in for each vocabulary such as an HTML unit (150) displaying/editing an HTML document and an SVG unit (160) displaying/editing an SVG document. When the document to be processed is described by a vocabulary with which the plug-in installed is not compatible, a VC unit (180) maps the document to a vocabulary which can be displayed, here HTML and SVG, and the HTML unit (150) or the SVG unit (160) display/edits the document. The document processing device (100) displays the document described by a plurality of vocabularies by a plug-in corresponding to each of the vocabularies and receives edition of the document by a user.
