<p>There is provided a navigation system enabling a vehicle to travel on the lane in a roundabout correctly and efficiently and be informed a correct outlet surely based on a recommended course. When a roundabout (20) is included in a recommended course calculated at a recommended course calculating section (11), the car navigation system detects the direction of the outlet of the roundabout (20), detects the number of lanes from the entry road (20d) to the outlet of the roundabout (20), and then informs the lane position from the entry road (20d) to the outlet of the roundabout (20).</p> |
