FIELD: electrolytic refining of metals forming considerable amount of anode sludge; simulation of electrolytic refining of metals in industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed plant includes electrolyzer with anode and cathode arranged inside it; plant is additionally provided with grid and reference electrode (half cell) located between grid and cathode; one end of cathode is connected with anode through potentiometer and reference resistor and other end in form of tube with bent end is located near grid and is directed towards it; grid with reference electrode is secured on holder for joint motion. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of cathode sediment due to control of electrochemical parameters. ^ 1 dwg
