<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformant capable of expressing a large amount of a replicase having activity (activated-type replicase). <P>SOLUTION: This soluble replicase having the activity is expressed by introducing a gene (βgene) which encodes a β subunit of the replicase, a gene which encodes a polypeptide chain elongation factor EF-Ts, and a gene which encodes a polypeptide chain elongation factor EF-Tu into a host by means of at least one kind, or more, of recombinant vector, so as to obtain a transformant, and then culturing the obtained transformant. A combination of a first recombinant vector containing the gene which encodes the β subunit and a second recombinant vector containing the gene which encodes the EF-Ts and the gene which encodes the EF-Tu, or a recombinant vector containing all of the gene which encodes the β subunit, the gene which encodes the EF-Ts, and the gene which encodes the EF-Tu, is preferably used as the recombinant vector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
