PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient vehicular illumination control system capable of turning on an illumination device only as necessary when a user gets on/gets off a vehicle.
SOLUTION: The vehicular illumination control system comprises an in-cabin detection means to detect whether or not a portable device is in a cabin through transmission/reception of the signal to/from the portable device carried by a user, and an illumination control means to installation the turn-on and turn-off of an in-cabin illumination device based on information acquired from the in-cabin detection means and an opening/closing state detection means to detect the door opening/closing state. The illumination control means turns on the illumination device when it is detected that the door is in an open state, and turns off the illumination device in a first predetermined time elapsed from the time when the door closed state is detected when it is detected that the door is in a closed state and it is detected from the in-cabin detection means that the portable device is in the cabin. On the other hand, when it is detected by the in-cabin detection means that the portable device is not in the cabin, the illumination device is turned off in a second predetermined time elapsed after the door closed state is detected.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
|
