PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorded medium reproducing apparatus which can be miniaturized and more recording media can be housed. SOLUTION: In the recorded medium reproducing apparatus, a CD changer is provided with a holder 19, a swing chassis 17, a moving frame 66, an optical pickup 78, and lock members 82, 83, the holder 19 holds a CD2. In the swing chassis 17, other end part 17b is entered into a plurality of CD2 and separated from the plurality of CD2. the moving frame 66 is freely movable for the swing chassis 17. The optical pickup 78 is arranged at the moving frame 66. The lock members 82, 83 are displaced over a lock relieving position at which the moving frame 66 is made freely movable for the swing chassis 17 and a lock position at which the swing chassis 17 is fixed to a lock position.
