PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented multi-layer polypropylene film with a vinyl alcohol copolymer layer excellent in water resistance, laminating strength and appearance of the film, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented multi-layer polypropylene film is composed of laminating the vinyl alcohol copolymer (E) layer with an olefin content of 1-19 mole% through an adhesive resin (D) layer on at least one face of a biaxially oriented film substrate layer obtained from a propylene polymer composition (C) comprising a propylene homopolymer (A) and a propylene/α-olefin copolymer (B) and with anα-olefin content of 0.1-1.8 mole%.
