PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an atom- or molecule-including fullerene with extremely high yield and the doped fullerene obtained by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The atom- or molecule-including fullerene is manufactured by (1) a step of synthesizing an open-cage fullerene, (2) a step of doping the synthesized open-cage fullerene with the atom or the molecule, (3) a step of contracting an open-cage part of the open-cage fullerene including the atom or the molecule and (4) a step of sealing the open-cage part of the open-cage fullerene having the contracted open-cage part to manufacture the including fullerene.
