PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quite new and unique windshield wiper of an automobile for removing rain water adhered to a windshield glass of the automobile through the application of pressure of compressed air. SOLUTION: Compressed air is blown against the windshield glass of an automobile, to disperse rain water on the windshield glass by air pressure. Then, the nozzle pipes of compressed air are set such that they can be made to protrude out of or retracted into from above the windshield glass, in a horizontal state toward the windshield glass or along an inclination of the windshield glass and further the nozzle, having a shape of the nozzle installed at the extremity end of the nozzle pipe bent into a right-angled L-shape or a slightly opened shape is removably installed at the extremity end of the nozzle pipe.
