PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stay structure for a sub-frame capable of keeping functions of a hook part or a guard part, and capable of restraining a number of parts of the members. SOLUTION: In the stay structure 80 for the sub-frame, a sub-frame 41 supporting an engine and a transmission is mounted on a lower part of a vehicle body front part structure, a reinforcing stay 82 is outwardly extended from the sub-frame 41, and a tip 84 of the stay 82 is connected to a lower cross member 25. In the stay structure 80, the hook part 101 for hooking a fitting tool for tie-down or towing is provided on the stay 82, and the guard part 102 extending to a lower part of the sub-frame 41 is provided on the stay 82.
