PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple decorating method for a surface of an adherend, which dispenses with special technical skills and which prevents a pressure-sensitive adhesive from bleeding (exuding) onto a decorative surface such as gold foil, and a double-faced adhesive sheet laminate which can be suitably used for the decorating method. SOLUTION: (a) A cutting machine makes a cut in a desired shape on the double-faced sheet laminate 1 wherein first and second release sheets 5 and 2 are stuck on the top surface and undersurface of a double-faced adhesive sheet 6 composed of a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 and an extensible resin sheet 4 with adhesion lower than that of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3; (b') after the first release sheets 5a and 5b and an unnecessary part 6b of the double-faced adhesive sheet are removed, a transfer sheet 7, which is provided with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (8), is bonded onto the double-faced adhesive sheet which is made graphical; (c') subsequently, the double-faced adhesive sheet, which is made graphical by peeling off the transfer sheet 7, is peeled off with the transfer sheet 7 from the second release sheet 2; (d') after the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer surface of the peeled double-faced adhesive sheet is pressed against and bonded onto the adherend B, the transfer sheet is peeled off from the double-faced adhesive sheet; and (e) foil such as the gold foil G, a foil flake, or a powder, etc. is bonded onto the surface of the double-faced adhesive sheet on the adherend B.
