PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot to support the indoor confirming operation to be conducted by a user before going out. SOLUTION: The robot 100 is one moving indoors autonomously and is equipped with a moving mechanism 31 whereby the robot is moved, a conforming operation storing part 61 to store the confirming operation which the user performs when he goes out and the confirming places located indoors where the confirming operation should be made, a confirming operation planning part 65 to produce the order of execution of the tasks in the confirming operation, a control part 30 to control the moving mechanism so as to move the robot to the confirmation place where the confirming operation is executed in accordance with the order produced by the planning part 65, a confirming operation recording part 70 to record the situation of the confirming operation being executed, and a presenting part 21 to present the situation of the confirming operation being executed.
