PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return oil drops attached to a partition wall in a breather passage to lubricant in a crank chamber for securely removing oil drops from blow-by gas. SOLUTION: In a crankcase 11, on which a crankshaft is rotatably supported, forming the crank chamber 65 inside, the breather passage 83 is formed of an outer circumferential wall and a partition wall 81 of the crankcase 11. To the breather passage 83, blow-by gas flows in from a gas introducing port. After the blow-by gas is guided by the partition wall 84 to flow downward, it is reversed at an end part of the partition wall 84 to flow upward to be discharged from a gas leading-out hole 86 outward. Oil drops attached to a passage inner wall surface in the breather passage 83 are guided from an oil return hole 85 to the liquid surface in the crank chamber 65. At an end part of the partition wall 84, an inclination surface 87 is formed. Oil drops flowing along the passage inner wall surface are guided by the inclination surface 87 to an inner surface of the crankcase 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
