PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fixing tiles onto a building material and a building base material for securing sufficient adhesive strength between the building base material and the tile to be fixed thereonto while reducing the amount of adhesive to be used. SOLUTION: A net-attached tile unit consists of the plurality of tiles having no backings and arranged and fixed onto a meshed net at predetermined joint intervals. The tile unit is fixed onto the base material via adhesive to form the building material, wherein the adhesive is roll-coated onto the base material in such a manner that the adhesive having a thickness of 2mm or less exists between the base material and the back face of the tile.
