PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary showcase apparatus with which the formation of a cold air curtain is not disturbed even when the auxiliary showcase is supported in an unchilled region, a shelf board can be stably supported in a standing position by a simple operation, and a show space with an almost same size of a base plate of a showroom can be secured. SOLUTION: Supporting legs 3 and 3 support a movable shelf 2 of the auxiliary showcase apparatus 1, wherein ends of individual stays are supported by pivoting against receiving members 6 and 7, and the other ends are equipped with supporting pins 8 which are inserted to be slidable along guiding grooves 11 provided on standing pieces of receiving members 9 and 10. The guiding groove 11 extends almost horizontally in a longitudinal direction and has locking groove sections 11a and 11b at both front and rear ends which extend obliquely upward or obliquely downward and the movable shelf 2 can be respectively supported at an elevation position or a lowering position by positioning the supporting pin 8 of each of the stays 4 and 5 respectively at one of the locking groove sections 11a and 11b.
