PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which is comfortable about wearing by reducing occurrence of deviation at the diaper even during movement. SOLUTION: In the disposable diaper 1, a ratio of a length from a waist edge on the side of a back side area B to the minimum width part of a crotch area C to a length from a waist edge on the side of a stomach side area A to the minimum width part of the crotch area is 1.4 to 2.0. Inside an outer layer sheet 21 forming the outer surface of the stomach side area A, a waist elastic sheet 25 stretching in the width direction of the diaper is formed. In the vicinity of the center part of the stomach side area A in the vertical direction of the diaper, an external force buffering area S where the outer layer sheet 21 is not connected with the waist elastic sheet 25 is formed.
