PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article such as an incontinence pad and a urine pad provided with a space part for diffusing urine overflowing from an absorbent. SOLUTION: The absorptive article is composed of a liquid permeable top sheet 1, a liquid impermeable or water repellent back sheet 2 and the absorbent 3 interposed between the top sheet 1 and the back sheet 2, the space parts 7a and 7b are provided along a longitudinal direction at both side parts in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent 3 by joining the top sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 along the longitudinal direction above both side parts in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent 3 by an adhesive material 5 for instance, and a deodorizer 8 is inserted respectively to the space parts 7a and 7b. The absorptive article 6 is provided with three-dimensional gathers 4 covering the back sheet 2 along the longitudinal direction near both side edges in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent 3, and the back sheet 2 is rolled in the width direction of the three-dimensional gathers 3. The urine overflowing from the absorbent 3 is diffused and made to pass through the deodorizer 8 and thus a urine deodorization effect is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
