Disclosed herein is a composition for dyeing keratin fibers, for example, human keratin fibers such as the hair, comprising, in a medium suitable for dyeing, at least one oxidation dye precursor, at least one alcohol oxidase enzyme, at least one substrate for the enzyme, and at least one polymer comprising at least one sugar unit. Further disclosed herein are a process for dyeing keratin fibers, comprising applying this composition to the keratin fibers, and a multi-compartment device comprising the composition.
