PURPOSE: A control shaft detent structure of a manual transmission is provided to increase shift operability and reliability by positioning selecting and shifting operations by a poppet ball contacted to a detent plate. CONSTITUTION: A control shaft detent structure of a manual transmission is composed of a control shaft(55) moved rectilinearly or rotated according to an operation of a shift lever to transmit shift operation force to a shift rail; a detent plate(70) mounted at the control shaft and composed of a guide path(73) formed on one surface to determine selecting and shifting positions according to motions of the control shaft; and a poppet unit(80) disposed in the transmission and closely contacted to the guide path of the detent plate to guide position-determination. The selecting operation is executed for a rotary motion of the control shaft and the shifting operation is executed for a rectilinear motion. |
