<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain green Eucommia ulmoides tea leaves having favorable essential qualities agreeable with taste of more consumers with respect to color and/or fragrance, green powder of Eucommia ulmoides leaves that is dispersed into water to give a dispersion as a beverage and an extracted solution of green Eucommia ulmoides tea leaves with water and a water dispersion of green powder of Eucommia ulmoides leaves having favorable essential qualities as a beverage with respect to color and/or fragrance. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing green Eucommia ulmoides tea leaves comprises a process for steaming raw Eucommia ulmoides leaves, a process for drying the Eucommia ulmoides leaves while stirring and/or rolling, a process for crushing the Eucommia ulmoides leaves and a process for drying the Eucommia ulmoides leaves by irradiating the Eucommia ulmoides leaves with far-infrared radiation. The method for producing green powder of Eucommia ulmoides leaves comprises making Eucommia ulmoides tea leaves into powder having 3-14 μm average diameter by a jet mill. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
