<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a performance system including a plurality of more musical instruments. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of performance terminals 2 are the musical instruments played by students, and a musical sound generation terminal 1 is a terminal managed by a teacher. The musical sound generation terminal 1 and the plurality of performance terminals 2 are connected to a LAN 12. The performance data created by performance using the performance terminal 2 are received by the musical sound generation terminal 1 via the LAN 12. The musical sound generation terminal 1 creates musical sound data on the basis of the received performance data, and the musical sound data are transmitted to the performance terminal 2 via the LAN 12. The performance terminals 2 generate the musical sound according to the received musical sound data.
