<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization method for a pure water manufacturing apparatus capable of preventing scales from depositing and simply sterilizing the pure water manufacturing apparatus, and to provide the pure water manufacturing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of operation of the pure water manufacturing apparatus 1, ion-containing water to be treated such as city water is stored in a tank 2. When the pure water manufacturing apparatus 1 is sterilized, water to be treated in the tank 2 is replaced with soft water obtained by de-calcium treatment by using a replacement means composed of a 1st cross valve 31, a 2nd cross valve 32 and a 2nd piping 22. Then the soft water stored in the tank 2 is heated with a 1st heat exchanger 3 and is collectively made to pass through a reverse osmosis membrane apparatus 6 and a deionization apparatus 8 to sterilize these members. After sterilization process is finished, the soft water of ordinary temperature is supplied to the tank 2 from a pure water tank 9 or the like and is made to pass through the reverse osmosis membrane apparatus 6 and the deionization apparatus 8 to perform a temperature descending process for lowering temperature of these members. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
