PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-strength centrifugally molded article capable of being highly prestressed, exhibiting a high crazing load, having high durability and a high strength of at least 100 N/mm<SP>2</SP>in terms of a design strength. SOLUTION: The method for producing the high-strength centrifugally molded aricle comprises centrifugally molding a concrete which is prepared by compounding a high- or ultrahigh-early-strength portland cement of a unit weight of below 400 kg/m<SP>3</SP>with a blast furnace slag powder or with both a blast furnace slag powder and a normal portland cement to form a binder comprising the cement, the blast furnace slag powder, and the normal portland cement and having a unit weight of 450 to 650 kg/m<SP>3</SP>, and combining the binder with an AE water superreducer with a water/binder ratio of 30% or lower, and heat-curing the green molding. Embodiments include the method for producing the high-strength centrifugally molded article wherein the blast furnace slag is used in an amount of 10 to 40 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. binder and the method for producing the high-strength centrifugally molded article wherein the AE water superreducer is used in an amount of 0.1 to 0.6 pt.wt. (in terms of the solids) per 100 pts.wt. binder. The high-strength centrifugally molded article wherein the compressive strength is 100 N/mm<SP>2</SP>or higher in terms of a design strength is also provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
