PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film which is almost free from curling and shows excellent surface hardness, even when a plastic film with a thickness of 30 to 50μm is used as a support. SOLUTION: In the hard coat film with a hard coat layer laminated on at least one surface of the support, the hard coat layer is composed mainly of a heat-curable resin or an active energy-curable resin with a degree of volume shrinkage of 2 to 10% after curing and 4 to 10μm thick. The four corner rising of hard coat film cut to the size of crosswise×lengthwise=20 cm×25 cm is measured when left at rest on a flat plate at 20°C and under relative humidity environment of 60%. Then when the average value is given as a curling height, the curling height is preferably not more than 50 mm, and there is no curling problem in practical use when the curing height is not more than 50 mm.
