PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electroconductive composition having high electrical conductivity and excellent stability of electrical conductivity to the external environment. SOLUTION: The electroconductive composition comprises a polyanion (A) containing an anion group bonded through an ester group to a main chain and a conjugated electroconductive polymer (B). Preferably the electroconductive composition is obtained by subjecting a monomer of the conjugated electroconductive polymer (B) to chemical oxidation polymerization in the presence of the polyanion (A).
