PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact claw-pole type three-phase linear motor. SOLUTION: Three kinds of unit cores 11, 13 and 15 are arranged sequentially in the moving direction of a moving member 3. A plurality of unit cores 11 have U-shape where first and second split exciting windings 17a and 17b are wound around the proximal part of a pair of magnetic pole composing sections.
