PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable equipped with abnormal temperature rise sensing function in which even a local abnormal temperature rise happened in a cable can be discovered at an early stage and the cover material of the cable and its surrounding are not burnt. SOLUTION: In the cable, a thin cable 3 which is covered by a heat-melting insulator 2 melting at an established temperature is contacted with main cables 4, and in that state the main cables 4 and the thin cable 3 are covered by a main insulator 5, and furthermore, a monitor device for watching electric conduction between these cables is provided between the main cable 4 and the thin cable 3, and based on the sensing signal of electric conduction from this monitor device, a breaker for electric supply to the main cable 4 is provided. By watching the electric conduction between the main cable 4 and the thin cable 3, abnormal temperature rise of the main cable 4 is sensed, and since electric supply to the main cable 4 is cut off by the sensing signal of the electric conduction from the monitor device, even a local abnormal temperature rise happening in the cable can be discovered at an early stage, and the cover material of the cable and its surrounding are not burnt.
