PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure excellent gas permeability of a raw material filling layer, by preventing compaction of a raw material in a surface layer part of the raw material filling layer, in a grain size segregating charging device of a sintered raw material. SOLUTION: This charging device is constituted in a screen shape by juxtaposing a screen constituting member composed of a plurality of rods or rope bodies substantially parallel to the pallet width direction at an interval, and has a screen-like chute for narrowing the interval between the adjacent screen constituting members toward the chute upper side. The screen constituting member on the chute upper side is arranged so that the axis of the screen constituting member on the lower stage side adjacent to this area, is included in a plane projection area of the screen constituting member on the upper stage side.
