PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary body for mounting a blade of a core drill for removing a manhole cover frame, and to provide a manhole cover frame removing method. SOLUTION: The rotary body for mounting the blade of the core drill for removing the manhole cover frame is for use in cylindrically cutting the ground along an outer edge of the manhole cover frame embedded in the ground. The rotary body is formed like a disk, and the cutting blade is arranged on a rear surface of the disk. The cutting blade is mounted on the region of the rear surface of the disk.
